Invisalign Clear Aligners
We are experts in Invisalign treatments in Port Alberni and Qualicum Beach. These custom-made aligners are comfortable, removable, and practically invisible. They are discreet so your friends may not even notice you have them on! Our patients love that they can eat what they want – no restrictions. The biggest advantage – they are convenient and save you valuable time. Yes, fewer in-person visits and often a shorter treatment time.
Braces
Clear or traditional metal braces are still our most popular patient choice to straighten teeth. We also offer advanced custom 3D-printed Lightforce braces that are a perfect fit. We’ve got a whole arsenal of options tailored just for you. And, the best part: our custom colours can be switched up at every appointment, making your smile journey extra fun!
Early Treatment
Did you know your child should see a board-certified specialist in orthodontics as early as the age of 7? Come see us at no cost because early orthodontic treatment may be beneficial for your child. It can help prevent problems later and save you additional cost by getting to young, growing mouths early! We’ll keep a close eye on their dental growth, providing complimentary visits until the time is right for braces or Invisalign aligners.
Adult Treatment
It’s never too late to invest in a healthy, beautiful smile. Over 35% of our patients are adults seeking to revitalize their smiles or correct shifting teeth. Bringing confidence to people is what we do, and with our Invisalign clear aligners, you can keep your transformation discreet throughout your journey. We have options that can fit your budget and timing needs.
What’s the Difference between a dentist and orthodontist?
Many ask us this question! A dentist is most concerned with overall oral health. They treat decayed teeth (fillings) and usually provide services such as crowns, veneers or bonding to improve the appearance and function of teeth that have decayed or are misshapen or broken.
An orthodontist is a specialist in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. Orthodontists spend 2-3 more years (or 3,700 hours) in university than dentists to become accredited specialists focused on the movement of teeth, jawbones, facial bones, and soft tissue.
General dentists are licensed to practice dentistry, and they sometimes provide specialty care, even if they do not have formal post-dental school training.
Did you know?
- All orthodontists are dentists, but only about 4% of dentists are orthodontists
- Years of education: 4-year undergraduate degree + 4-year dental degree + additional 2-3 year graduate degree

The Dr. Behind The Smiles
Meet Dr. Bryce Tremblay
Dr. Bryce Tremblay has been creating beautiful smiles on Vancouver island in Port Alberni and Qualicum Beach since 2006. He lives here with his wife, two boys and Roger the Dog. He can’t imagine living anywhere else. He attended the University of Western Ontario, obtaining his Honours Bachelor of Science. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.), at the University of Kentucky, followed by a one-year General Practice Hospital Residency. He pursued his specialty degree in Orthodontics at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland.
He is a compassionate and skilled orthodontist but equally interested in the person “behind the smile”.
